Mapúa emerges as a top 100 Southeast Asian university in QS Asia University Rankings 2023

Maintaining its status as one of the best universities in the region, Mapúa University makes it to the prestigious Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Asia University Rankings for the fifth straight year.

QS Quacquarelli Symonds is the world’s leading provider of services, analytics, and insight to the global higher education sector.

Released in November 2022, the QS Asia University Rankings 2023 rankings named Mapúa as a top 100 university in Southeast Asia (#88). Placing #551-600 overall, Mapúa continues to be among the Philippines’ leaders in the highly anticipated rankings.

Mapúa earned the highest score among Philippine schools for papers per faculty, one of the rankings’ key indicators which also includes academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty-student ratio, faculty staff with doctorate degrees, citations per paper, international research network, international faculty, international students, inbound exchange, and outbound exchange.

In addition to its consistent performance in the university rankings, Mapúa has also been rated as a 4-Star institution under the QS Intelligence Unit’s (QSIU) QS Stars Rating System, highlighting its strength as a top educational institution in the country.

In October 2022, Mapúa entered the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2023, realizing its vision of becoming one of the best universities in the world. It ranked1501+ among over 1700 institutions across 104 countries and is one of the only four universities that made it to the list.
