They say that “friends they come and friends they go”. Another one says, “tell me who your friends are and i’ll tell you who you are”. These are some of the famous lines or quotes about friendship. But as for me, Friends are gift from God. They are one of the most precious ones, and I am blessed to have them.
In this episode, I went to a place where Travel, Food and Friendship speaks, together with my High School buddies. After months of not seeing each other, and because of the pandemic as well, we’ve decided to meet up and unwind. Though we are all mothers and wives already, we still find time to enjoy each other’s company and take a break with our household chores and all.
So we went to a place called KM 23, along the roads of NLEX. Our first stop was at Shakeys. Ordered the same old stuff like Pizza, Pasta, Salad, Chicken and Mojos. But as for me, I enjoyed their in-house blended Iced Tea. “Sarap”! Then afterwards, “Kape Kape sa” Starbucks. But because during that time, chocolate blended coffee was not available and so I decided not to order, instead we went to Drive & Dine. Still along NLEX, and there we ordered Munchkins, and my favorite Hot Choco.
Thank you Pamela, Ai, Darl and Senor Not. A road trip experience that was deliciously served with coffee, sweets and camaraderie. Truly an unforgettable Walk to Remember.
