NVIDIA Revolutionizes Vietnam’s iCafe Scene with RTX platform and Exciting Esports Initiatives

NVIDIA, a global leader in graphics and digital infrastructure, is set to transform the Vietnam iCafe landscape with its latest GeForce RTX 40 SUPER series products and a series of engaging events and programs. These initiatives not only mark a significant upgrade in gaming technology but also reignite the passion of the gaming community post-pandemic.

iCafe Market Resurgence Post-Pandemic

Vietnam’s iCafe market has witnessed a remarkable revival since the easing of COVID-19 restrictions. From a near standstill during the lockdown period (May 2021 to Dec 2021), the sector has bounced back vigorously. Currently, approximately 14,000 iCafes are operational, featuring an estimated 280,000 PCs. This resurgence is further bolstered by over 650 active GeForce-certified iCafes, with around 200 new certifications annually.

iCafe Discovery Program: Spearheading Technological Transformation

A key highlight for NVIDIA’s iCafe ecosystem last year was the iCafe Discovery Program, held from October 24 to 27, in Hangzhou, China. This event saw the participation of 20 top Vietnamese iCafe owners. The program focused on introducing and integrating the GeForce RTX 40 series upgrades into their business models. Following this event, many participants have adopted these innovations, transforming traditional iCafes into modern Esports cafes and entertainment complexes that offer the latest games and exceptional gameplay experiences.

Hanoi GeForce Fans Party: Bridging Technology and Community

Adding to the excitement, the Hanoi GeForce Fans Party, graced by NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, took place at Vikings iCafe in Hanoi. The event was a resounding success, attracting over 400 on-site attendees and garnering more than 1 million views online.

It featured the latest GeForce technologies and provided a platform for gamers to interact and engage in CS2 matches against teams of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). The event’s extensive reach and interactive format significantly boosted NVIDIA’s presence and engagement with the gaming community in Vietnam.

NVIDIA Reflex iCafe Attack: Elevating Competitive Gaming

Another major initiative is the NVIDIA Reflex iCafe Attack, an ongoing CS2 tournament culminating on January 28, 2024. The tournament boasts a substantial prize pool of 120 million VND, the largest ever for a CS2 event in Vietnam.

This has generated considerable excitement and interest within the gaming community. Over 70 iCafes across 12 cities have participated, with more than 500 gamers competing in the qualifiers. The final event, which will include regional qualifiers and a country final in Ho Chi Minh City, is expected to attract over 500 attendees and achieve more than 2 million social media impressions. Participants will have the opportunity to experience the latest RTX 40 Series PCs in competitive gaming zones.
