“DONUT Stop Believing!”
One of the best and sweet companion, tambayan, antayan, along the famous Greenhills shopping center has now come to an end. Let’s all give it up for Mister Donut Greenhills Branch!
The historical place and favorite hang out of our friends, lolos and lolas, dabarkads is now closing its door after 42 years of serving sweet donuts, hot chocolate and coffee that brings out their happiest chickahan ever.
We had a great time talking with Ms. Meggie Jose, Marketing and Key Accounts Director of Mister Donut, according to her, it’s not really goodbye after all, it’s just a matter of renovation of the whole shopping center, which MD store is part of it. This maybe a sad story for now, but will soon come back after the whole renovation process.
Mister Donut Greenhills store is already 42 years old, it has been the best jogging area, a date place, which has been very familiar to all of their customers since then. Others will buy pasalubong for their kids, and it used to be the head office and production hub too, as per Ms. Meggie. “Institusyon na talaga ito, legacy, for forty years, daming kwento, nakakatuwa naman pag napapakinggan mo.” Greenhills shopping center is about to re-develop and they don’t know yet if the place would still be with them. For over 40 years, they have established this very good working and fruitful relationship. All the highs and lows, would be the ultimate testament on how strong the brand is.
