Malayan Insurance provides road assistance through CAMILLE

Malayan Insurance Co. Inc. offers Auto Master, a comprehensive automobile insurance policy, which comes with a Call Malayan Insurance Live Line (CAMILLE) service, a free membership roadside assistance program.

Apart from the 24/7 roadside assistance, the service also provides medical assistance and road concierge services.

CAMILLE has a concierge service that allows the policyholder to call for restaurant referral and reservation assistance, driver’s license and car registration information assistance, car washing and detailing assistance, 24-hour fire assistance referral, and arrangement of hotel accommodation.

Policyholders can avail of free emergency towing assistance in areas such as Metro Manila, Cebu, and Davao and other key areas nationwide for seven days a week. Clients need only call (02) 8687-8525 to avail of the service.

Furthermore, CAMILLE also includes benefits such as: free minor roadside repair, alternative travel, repatriation of vehicle, removal of vehicle, hotel accommodation, and free 24/7 general claims assistance, among others.

“It is important that Filipinos protect themselves from risks whether man-made or not. One way to get such protection is by having insurance coverage. The public can benefit from the auto insurance program of Malayan Insurance as it helps address risks while on the road,” Malayan Insurance vice chairperson Yvonne S. Yuchengco said in a statement.

According to the Metro Manila Accident Reporting and Analysis System (MMARAS), the Philippines recorded a total of 65,032 road accidents for the year 2020, with Metro Manila averaging 178 road-crash incidents per day.

Of the daily average number of road accidents per day, 50,230 cases were related to damage to property while 14,465 resulted to non-fatal injuries.
