Kingston Technology, being known in the industry that develops, manufactures, sells and supports flash memory products and the world’s largest independent manufacturer of computer memory products, is now part of our everyday journey, at work, school and many more.

It is my honor and privileged to use, experience and make a review, to one of their latest products called Kingston DataTraveler 80 M USB-C Flash Drive (256GB), a portable storage for USB Type-C devices. Just exactly fit to my mobile phone which also has a Type-C device.

So here below is my short and true to life review for this Kingston USB Type-C Flash Drive.

First on the list is the overall look. It has a nice color, blue, which is one of my favorite, and the packaging has its usual look, covered with a hard plastic design that protects the flash drive itself.

For its key or main feature that impressed me so much is the convenient moving design. So easy to open when you need to use, just pull it out and then you’ll have it. The moving cap for connecter is already protected when not in use.

Next on the list is the “No Adapter Needed.” Just simply plug in into your USB Type-C laptop or mobile phone, tablet and more, then you can directly use it. What a comfort and joy it brings to people like me.

Finally, the large storage capacity with a 256GB, it can accommodate any large files such as photos, videos, documents and more from either your phone or PC. I was able to store more than 5,000 photos and large file videos from my phone to the DataTraveler 80M. True enough, the Kingston DataTraveler 80M allows a quick and fast convenient of storing and transfer of your files. It’s definitely great and very useful to people who are always on-the-go.

CONCLUSION

The Kingston DataTraveler 80M unit comes with a 256GB storage which is enough to store my important files from my mobile phone. There’s two more storage variant if the 256GB capacity is too much storage for you. I usually use a USB-C adapter on my phone and I always misplaced the USB cap. I was very happy that these concerns was easily addressed by the new Kingston DataTraveler 80M. The moving cap design and a USB- connector made it very convenient for me. Saving and transferring of files on my phone are much more faster and safe. Overall, the Kingston DataTraveler 80M is a convenient and reliable USB-C flash drive for your everyday use.
